What is Hairballkun made of?
Hairballkun for cats is made from natural active ingredients, which are commonly found in food and which act synergistically with each other. Thanks to its ingredients, this food supplement reduces shedding, promotes the elimination of ingested hair through feces, preventing the formation of balls and improving your cat's well-being.

White mineral oil, psyllium husk (19.1%), flavoring by-product (hydrolyzed pork liver and yeast), sunflower oil, and powdered cellulose (2.7%).
Nutritional Additives
Vitamins: Vitamin E - 4,545 IU/kg, Biotin - 91 mg/kg; Trace elements: Zinc (glycine zinc chelate) - 1,360 mg/kg.

To whom and for what purpose?
- If hairball symptoms such as vomiting, gagging, and/or coughing are present, Hairballkun facilitates the expulsion of hairballs through feces and, consequently, reverses the associated symptoms, improving your cat's well-being. Stop your cat's coughing and gagging with Hairballkun!
- Hairballkun prevents hairball formation. The risk of hairball formation in cats increases in those animals with longer, denser fur and constant grooming behavior. For cats that suffer from hairballs regularly or intermittently, ongoing preventative treatment is highly recommended.
Hairball formation in cats is generally considered to arise as a result of routine grooming activities, where cats ingest varying amounts of hair. Individual ingested hair strands cannot move through the intestine, so they become entangled in the stomach lining and eventually form solid masses in the stomach or intestine.
HAIRBALLKUN is not recommended for:
- Malabsorption syndrome, as Hairballkun can interfere with the digestion and absorption of nutrients.
- Diarrhea or poor stool quality, as a large amount of fiber can cause irritation of the intestinal epithelium.
- Patients with suspected intestinal obstruction, paralytic ileus, or intestinal perforation, which can be life-threatening and may require surgery.
This supplement may slightly soften the texture of stool.
How is it administered?
Daily recommendation to be administered directly into the mouth, on top of food, or on the paw or snout to encourage the animal to ingest the product when grooming itself:

Hairballkun can be administered chronically without a rest period between tubes.
How long should I administer it?
- If hairball symptoms are present: 2 times a day for 5 consecutive days as a loading dose. In this case, the stool may appear softer than normal. Then continue with the maintenance dose indicated according to the risk of hairball formation.
- To prevent hairball formation in:
- Short-haired cats that have outdoor access and are not shedding: once a week as maintenance.
- Long-haired cats that do not have outdoor access and are shedding: 3 times a week as maintenance.
