Ingredients

Sunflower oil, dried Ascophyllum nodosum (12.0%), monoglycerides, diglycerides, and triglycerides of lauric acid (5.0%), and flavoring by-product (hydrolyzed pork and chicken liver).

Nutritional Additives

Amino acids: Taurine - 7.270 mg/kg; Trace elements: Zinc (zinc glycinate chelate) - 3 640 mg/kg.

Crude protein 4.06%; Crude fiber 4.26%; Crude fat 65.73%; Crude ash 12.98%.

How do its active ingredients work?

Monolaurin

Monolaurin is the monoglyceride of lauric acid, the predominant medium-chain fatty acid in coconut oil. The antimicrobial properties of monolaurin extend to almost all species of gram-positive bacteria (except certain lactobacilli, bifidobacteria, and enterococci). The mechanism of action by which monolaurin exerts its antibacterial activity appears to be the dissipation of the potential difference across the plasma membranes of bacteria. In addition to its antimicrobial activity, monolaurin also prevents harmful proinflammatory processes in vivo on mucous membrane surfaces.

Controlled studies demonstrate a positive effect of supplementation with Ascophyllum nodosum on the onset of inflammatory diseases, in addition to immunomodulatory activity. How is it administered?

  • Apply once a day, 3 or 4 days a week as maintenance. The product can be administered chronically without any contraindication.
  • In case of wounds: Apply twice a day (doubling the recommended daily dose), every day until the lesions are healed. Then switch to the maintenance dose (once a day, 3 or 4 days a week).

Dentalkun - a mi gato no le gusta

No dudo de la calidad del producto, por eso lo compré, pero para gatos no funciona al ser más delicados son sabores y productos. Mi gato, como otros muchos que he leído en reseñas, babea muchísimo al darle un poquito, y se tira un buen rato haciéndolo.
