To whom and for what purpose?

  • Superpinkkun prevents and helps treat recurrent lower urinary tract infections such as cystitis, as well as improving kidney function and enhancing the overall health of your furry friend. Some changes you may notice in your animal that may indicate urinary problems are difficulty urinating, frequent urination but in small amounts, even complaining when doing so, urinating in unusual places, frequent licking of the genital area, behavioral changes, etc.
  • Additionally, this supplement also helps reduce discomfort and pain in cases of allergies, chronic inflammations (osteoarthritis, dermatitis, hepatitis, etc.), obesity, aging, situations involving high metabolic activity (physical exercise, illnesses, etc.), etc.

 

Use of SUPERPINKKUN is not recommended in case of:

  • Predisposition or presence of oxalate stones. In these cases, it is recommended to seek a veterinarian's opinion before using the product.

How is it administered?

Daily recommendation to be added on top of the food or through homemade treats. This dose can be divided into different intakes throughout the day:

Superpinkkun for dogs and cats can be administered together with any type of diet (dry food, homemade or commercial cooked food, BARF or dehydrated). Also, it can be administered chronically without the need to take any breaks between jars.

How long should I administer it?

  • In case of urinary tract discomfort: Daily administration is recommended for at least 1 month and to continue while symptoms persist. During the first week, the daily dose can even be doubled.
  • For animals with allergies, arthritis, dermatitis, hepatitis, overweight furry pets, or those with a high level of physical activity: Daily administration is recommended for at least 1 month and to continue while symptoms persist.
  • For completely healthy animals as prevention: It is recommended to administer this supplement 2-4 times per week.

How do their active ingredients work?

Blue and red cranberry

They are characterized by their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (high content of resveratrol, anthocyanins, and vitamin C) that help prevent degenerative diseases and stimulate the immune system. On the other hand, they exert a protective effect against urinary tract infections (proanthocyanidins and anthocyanidins). It is known that cranberries have anti-adhesive properties, as they form a “slippery barrier” that prevents bacteria from adhering to the surface of the urinary tract (thus avoiding their multiplication and colonization of the urinary epithelium), facilitating their elimination through urine. Additionally, anthocyanidins can act directly on certain bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, breaking the cytoplasmic membrane and inhibiting their enzymatic activity. This effect helps prevent urinary infections, cystitis, and the formation of stones in cats and dogs.

Beetroot

It is a source of soluble and insoluble fiber with prebiotic properties and regulation of intestinal transit, as well as being rich in antioxidants such as betaine, minerals (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron), and vitamins (B-complex and vitamin C). Betaine, as a methyl group donor, has anti-inflammatory and osmoprotective properties for cells. Furthermore, its supplementation has been shown to reduce serum uric acid levels and improve kidney function.

Medium-chain fatty acids

The nutritional needs of animals are modified by exercise. The amount of energy required for exercise depends on the total work performed and this is very variable for sporting animals that perform intermediate activity. Their energy needs range from 2 to 5 times their resting energy requirements, with athletes performing endurance activity requiring more than 5 times their resting energy needs. Due to its energy concentration, fat is an ideal nutrient to incorporate significantly into the diet of animals that engage in long-duration exercise. Additionally, medium-chain fatty acids (fatty acids with a length of 8 to 12 carbons) do not depend on L-carnitine for transport across the mitochondrial membrane, avoiding this limiting step in fatty acid oxidation.
