Vitamin E

Omega-3 fatty acids

They improve the clinical symptoms of osteoarthritis, orthopedic clinical examination, ground reaction force analysis during walking, and reduce pain. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) inhibits the overexpression of aggrecanases by blocking the signal at the messenger RNA level, thereby reducing the degradation of articular cartilage. Additionally, omega-3 fatty acids modulate the production of eicosanoids, with those resulting from the metabolism of omega-3 fatty acids being less stimulating to the inflammatory response than those resulting from omega-6 fatty acids. Furthermore, omega-3 fatty acids are precursors of resolvins and protectins, which are counterregulatory substances to inflammation that act as agonists of endogenous anti-inflammatory mechanisms and significantly contribute to the resolution of inflammation.

    • High risk: Animals with pre-existing orthopedic diseases, elderly animals, or those suffering from trauma or obesity.
  • For animals with a high level of activity, Arthrokun prevents the development of possible degenerative joint problems associated with exercise.

 

Use of ARTHROKUN is not recommended in cases of:

  • Patients with altered coagulation, concomitant administration with platelet aggregation inhibitors, or conditions involving bleeding.
  • Situations with iron deficiency or other iron-related diseases.

How is it administered?

Daily recommendation to be added on top of the food. This dose can be divided into different servings.

Arthrokun for dogs can be administered along with any type of diet (dry, homemade or commercial cooked, BARF, or dehydrated). Additionally, it can be administered chronically without the need for any resting period between containers.

How long should I administer it?

  • In case of existing chronic joint problems: It is recommended to administer for at least 1 month and continue as long as the symptoms persist.
  • For chronic joint problems with symptoms under control: Reduce the recommended daily dose by half as maintenance.
  • Animals at risk of developing chronic joint problems (large breeds with rapid growth, dogs with existing orthopedic diseases, elderly animals, or those with obesity): Administer half of the recommended daily dose as preventive treatment.
  • Animals with a high level of activity: Administer half of the recommended daily dose as preventive treatment.

El sabor es algo fuerte y amargo y a mi perrita no le gusta mucho, se lo mezclo con la comida y muchas veces no quiere comerla, debo dárselo con carne para que lo acepte y aun así a veces lo rechaza, en general sus productos son muy buenos pero éste sería mejor en que viniera en pastillas para administrarselo mas fácilmente, también ha hecho que defeque más blando de lo normal, pero ella es de estómago delicado así que se lo atribuyo más a su intolerancia a ciertos suplementos que al arthrokun, en general siempre le caen mal los que contienen glucosamina

Bueno para mi perro.

Nero es un perro que hace mucho deporte y aunque aún no es viejito pienso que es una forma de prevenir problemas articulares a largo plazo. A el le está sentando muy bien.
