To whom and for what purpose?

  • In situations of allergies, chronic inflammations (osteoarthritis, dermatitis, hepatitis, etc.), obesity, aging, situations involving high metabolic activity (physical exercise, diseases, etc.), Superorangekun reduces the animal's symptoms, relieving pain and improving its quality of life.

 

 

Use of SUPERORANGEKUN is not recommended in case of:

  • Patients with altered coagulation, concurrent administration with platelet aggregation inhibitor drugs, or conditions involving bleeding.
  • Situations with iron deficiency or other diseases associated with iron.
  • Animals already taking Arthrokun or Dermakun, as they would already be receiving the necessary daily doses of curcumin and piperine. In any case, it would be very difficult to reach an overdose situation.

Warning! Superorangekun may slightly stain the coat of light-colored animals.

How is it administered?

Daily recommendation to be added on top of food or through homemade treats. This dose can be divided into different intakes throughout the day:

Superorangekun for dogs and cats can be administered together with any type of diet (dry food, homemade or commercial cooked food, BARF or dehydrated). Also, it can be administered chronically without the need for any rest period between jars.

How long should I administer it?

  • In cases of chronic inflammation such as allergies, arthritis, dermatitis, hepatitis, obesity, etc.: Daily administration is recommended for at least 1 month and to continue as long as symptoms persist.
  • As a preventive measure in any healthy adult dog or cat: It is recommended to administer this supplement 2-4 times per week.

How do their active ingredients work?

Curcumin

Its anti-inflammatory effect is mediated by the inhibition of enzymes that mediate inflammatory processes such as COX-2, LOX, and iNOS, the production of cytokines like interferon gamma and tumor necrosis factor, and the activation of transcription factors such as NF-κB and AP-1.

Piperine

Increases the bioavailability of curcumin (over 20 times), due to the inhibition it exerts on hepatic glucuronidation and intestinal metabolism of curcumin.

Carotenoids

They have antioxidant and immunostimulant properties.

Medium-chain fatty acids

The nutritional needs of animals are modified by exercise. The amount of energy required for exercise depends on the total work performed and this is very variable for sporting animals that perform intermediate activity. Their energy needs range from 2 to 5 times their resting energy requirements, with athletes performing endurance activity requiring more than 5 times their resting energy needs. Due to its energy concentration, fat is an ideal nutrient to incorporate significantly into the diet of animals that engage in long-duration exercise. Additionally, medium-chain fatty acids (fatty acids with a length of 8 to 12 carbons) do not depend on L-carnitine for transport across the mitochondrial membrane, avoiding this limiting step in fatty acid oxidation.
