Ingredients

  • 2 cups of bone broth (make sure it is safe for dogs)
  • 1 cup of natural unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of Superorangekun (provides healthy fats and strengthens the immune system as it contains coconut, and serves as a natural anti-inflammatory by including curcumin, and provides beta-carotenes as antioxidants)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup of unsweetened pumpkin puree (helps thicken the ice cream) or additional fruits and vegetables like blueberries or beetroot

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the bone broth, yogurt, pumpkin puree, and Superorangekun, mix all the ingredients well. If you want to add additional fruits or vegetables, add them to the mixture and stir until well incorporated.
  2. Pour the mixture into ice cream molds or small containers. Make sure not to fill them completely, as the ice cream will expand when freezing.
  3. Place the molds in the freezer and let them solidify for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Once the ice cream is completely frozen, it will be ready to serve to your dog.
  5. Let it temper before giving it and this will also make it easier to remove the ice cream from the mold. To give the ice cream to your dog, make sure to do it in small portions to avoid quick freezing in their mouth. You can also offer it as a treat or refreshing snack during hot days.
